Suggestions on Maintenance of Hydraulic System of Shredder

Issue Time:2020-11-19

Maintenance is necessary for shredder, especially for the hydraulic system, which greatly extends the service life of the shredder and improves working efficiency.

75% of the hydraulic system failures are caused by these three problems: pollution, overheating and air intake. So how to keep the hydraulic system away from these three problems, the secret is scientific and effective maintenance operations.

Part 1: Regularly replace the filter element

When the hydraulic system is working, the oil tank will exchange air with the outside atmosphere, and the friction between the moving parts in the system will produce small solid pollutants. Therefore, when the hydraulic system is running, the filter is always working; once the dirt holding capacity of the filter element reaches the limit and we do not replace it in time, these dangerous pollutants will damage your hydraulic system.

Part 2: Regularly check whether the heat exchange unit is working properly

The hydraulic system is like a "long-distance runner" when it runs. If there is a problem with its heat exchange system and cannot "sweat" to dissipate heat and maintain temperature balance, then its "running" must stop.

Regardless of whether the heat exchange unit is water-cooled or air-cooled, a clean and matched heat exchange medium is a must; otherwise the heat exchange unit itself cannot work stably for a long time, so does the hydraulic system.

Part 3: Regular exhaust

Many people seriously underestimated the harmfulness of air in hydraulic systems. If the proportion of air in the oil is too high, "cavitation" will occur when passing through the hydraulic pump, which will damage the hydraulic pump and produce metal particles. A large number of metal particles are disastrous for the hydraulic system, so here we share some suggestions on exhaust of hydraulic system.

The air dissolved in the oil in the fuel tank can be heated to 60°C and let it stand overnight; during this process, you will find that a large number of bubbles slowly emerge from the liquid surface and dissipate. . The pressure measuring joint at the height of the hydraulic system can also be used as an exhaust point, but this kind of operation must be performed by professionals.

Part 4: Regular pipe tightening and surface cleaning

This helps prevent oil leakage and early detection of problems.
